How do I become a driving instructor?

The first step is to apply for your BDS criminal record check and send this to the DVLA, you will need to satisfy them you are a fit and proper person to become a driving instructor, once this has been completed there are 3 DVSA tests that you need to pass to qualify as a driving instructor. Both of our training course options provide a blended approach to complete all 3 parts together, giving you access to a Part Qualified Instructor (PDI) licence before your final Instructional ability test.
