If you are training to become an HGV driver you will also need an initial CPC (certificate of professional competence) this is initially two tests one theory-based (CPC Module 2) and the other is a practical demonstration (CPC Moudle 4), for this test you need to be able to show the examiner your knowledge and confidence in being able to handle a large goods vehicle, you will be asked questions related to vehicle safety and you will need to demonstrate each answer.

At Craig Baker Driver Training we are so confident in the standard of our CPC module 4 training that we are offering a free retest should you need it, Our pass rate is around 95% for CPC module 4 so its unlikely that you will need this but for some people nerves get the better of them on test, so in that case the cost of a retest is on us
A CPC Module 4 needs to be done on large goods vehicles we generally use our 18ton Daf rigid vehicles to conduct the training and Mod 4 CPC training and test.
Driver CPC cards for drivers can take up to 20 working days to arrive in the mail, but they are usually delivered within a week of applying for a CPC card. To ensure that you receive your CPC card quickly, apply as soon as possible to avoid any delays.
