Yes. Back in November 2021, the government changed the rules to allow people to skip the class 2 licence and go straight in for a class 1, Craig Baker Driver Training offers a direct access course and it is now a really popular choice with our customers and it gets great results with an excellent PASS rate.
So how much does a LGV HGV licence cost? Our direct access courses range from £2950 to £3200.
Our courses and well designed and we have a great pass rate but if you not feeling confident and require some more training, We can include extra lessons and we just charge per lesson making it easy to add additional training hours if required
The cost of the actual test is £115, this is the DVSA test fee but this doesn't include the cost of the vehicle hire and the instructor to take you to and from the test centre Our courses include all test fees.
We often review our prices to keep them as competitive and as cheap as possible, We, of course, need to factor in rising costs like fuel and insurance but we do try our best to make sure you are getting the best quality HGV training at the lowest possible price.
So how much can I earn as a HGV driver? As an HGV driver you can earn up to £50k a year so it's a small investment to make, and you should be able to recover these costs quickly as a HGV driver.
