At Craig Baker Driver Training we are a DVSA-approved 3A exam centre meaning that you can do your training with us and then be tested at our site by our experienced CPC module 3A LGV Instructors, We have an excellent success rate with the 3A test and we usually get this done at the start of your LGV driving course before we start any on-road driving.

Class 1 (Cat CE) 3A test.

The class 1 3A test usually lasts for around 30 minutes and will include a S-shaped reverse into a loading bay, and an uncoupling and recoupling exercise.

Class 2 (Cat C) 3A test.

The class 2 3A test usually lasts for around 15 minutes and will include a S-shaped reverse into a loading bay.

How difficult is the LGV module 3A test?

The class 2 3A test is relatively easy once you get familiar with the width and length of the vehicle, The class 1 3a test is a little more difficult but don't worry our professional LGV instructors have many years of experience and will guide you through the full process in a safe and controlled environment.
