The rules have now changed for towing a trailer
Here is all you need to know about towing a trailer On 16th December 2021 the rules regarding B+E trailer licences & certification changed. It now means that everyone with a category B (car licence) now also automatically has the E (trailer entitlement) added automatically. That means everyone with a car licence can now tow a trailer up to 3500kg but first you will need to check your vehicle handbook to make sure your vehicle is capable of towing a trailer that heavy and make sure you don't exceed your vehicle gross train weight (GTW)
